Introduction to the School of Architecture and Urban Planning at Nanjing University

The School of Architecture and Urban Planning at Nanjing University, known as the "School of Architecture and Urban Planning," is located at No. 22 Hankou Road, Gulou District, Nanjing, Jiangsu Province. Established in April 2010, the school was formed by the merger of the former School of Architecture and the Department of Urban and Regional Planning. The history of the school dates back to the Department of Architecture established in 1927. After the departmental reshuffle in 1952, the architecture department was split to form other universities. In 2000, Nanjing University resumed its architectural discipline, and in 2010, the School of Architecture and Urban Planning was officially established, becoming the only architectural discipline in China that integrates across disciplines.
