Caterpillar GH是Caterpillar库的Grasshopper 3D实现，它允许在不同的测量系统之间进行转换。为了简化使用，主要的转换都发生在单个组件中，每个测量单位都有一个组件，其中三个输入将“值”从一个源测量单位转换到目标测量单位，从而产生一个从指定输入测量系统转换到输出系统的组件输出值。结果是一个快速简单的转换，涵盖常见的测量系统，包括角度、面积、能量、力、长度、质量、压力、速度、温度、时间和体积。这些组件被添加到Grasshopper选项卡的Math's标签下的Units类别中。
Caterpillar目前是alpha版，因为所有可用的值都已初步使用，但尚未完全交叉检查或验证。使用时请自行承担风险。建议在首次使用时验证初始转换。
