PANDO是一个基于数值过程的模拟工具，它使用户能够在rhino犀牛软件的Grasshopper草蜢插件界面中模拟单个树木和树冠。该插件模拟了光合作用有效辐射(PAR)、近红外(NIR)和热辐射三个不同波段的辐射通量。它还计算了树冠通过光合作用和蒸腾作用的数量。通过与室外热舒适模型耦合，PANDO还可以用来估计树木的根系水分吸收、排水、树冠截留和冷却潜力。该工具使用户能够在考虑城市绿地规划的益处和未来回报的情况下，更有效地规划和设计城市绿化。
