SHOT 使得自动化创建鞋底的各种测量成为可能，同时为鞋类环境中成品的实现准备必要的工作，包括传统的皮革/橡胶类型（用于切割鞋底的二维路径和可能的橡胶插片定位的铣削），以及通过铸造橡胶获得的那些（三维路径用于实现模具）。
在二维轮廓的管理中，可以绘制或扫描一个起始轮廓，通过应用切线拟合或重建锐利边缘来修改它。一旦获得了最终轮廓，所有期望测量的轮廓将使用可用的各种规则或用户自定义的规则自动实现。
