从V5.0版本开始，xNURBS提供了一套API，用户可以在他们开发的代码中运行xNURBS，或者在不显示XNurbs UI的情况下运行XNurbs。该API包含C/C++ API和.NET API（即RhinoCommon、Rhino.Python和Grasshopper草蜢插件）。这些API是XN内核完整API的一个子集。
