Hops 是 Rhino 7 for Windows 中的 Grasshopper 草蜢插件的一个组件。Hops 为 Grasshopper 草蜢插件添加了外部函数。与其他编程语言类似，函数让你能够：
- 通过多次使用相同的函数来简化复杂算法。
- 通过将常见的组件组合放入函数中来消除重复的组件组合。
- 与团队其他成员共享 Grasshopper 文档。
- 在多个项目中引用 Grasshopper 文档。
- 并行解决外部文档，有可能加速大型项目。

Hops 函数存储为独立的 Grasshopper 文档。Hops 组件会适配其输入和输出以匹配指定的函数。在计算过程中，Hops 在单独的进程中解决定义，然后将输出返回到当前文档。
