Girih是一个用于几何图案建模的工具包，特别是伊斯兰几何图案，IGP。
开发此工具包所使用的方法基于形式文法和字符串重写系统。它使用字母和符号来生成每个图案的公式，而不是几何绘图解决方案。任何拥有公式的人都可以根据公式生成所代表的图案。
